Where did our name come from?
Back in the mid 90’s Convergence was amongst the first New Zealand providers of services to bring corporate computer and telephony solutions together [CTI integration]
These offerings were often referred to as ‘the
convergence of phone and computer systems’ The technology is now commonplace [rather than futuristic], however the name ‘Convergence’ has stuck, and we still work extensively on system integration projects across a wide variety of modern platforms
Early adoption of Collaboration tools
Convergence also became one of the original Lotus Notes development firms in NZ. We were quick to recognise the flexibility and business advantages of the platform. We are diversified into other technologies these days, however Convergence continues to develop and support Lotus based solutions for organizations of all sizes across New Zealand and Australia. Six years ago we attained the highest possible IBM reseller status worldwide: IBM Premier Partner

Over the last decade, Convergence staff have built vast knowledge in areas such as document, content and knowledge management, email archiving, business process workflow, customer relationship management, eCommerce, and systems integration. As software specialists, we have delivered solutions in these areas using either off-the-shelf packages, or custom built applications our team of experts have designed, programmed, documented and deployed.
Convergence has also guided many organisations through mergers and un-mergers of complex IT environments, as well as infrastructure software and business applications upgrades.
